This may seem a bit strange but there are actually many renewable fuel resources gifted to us. And all of them are derived from plants and are quite cheap to produce. These fuels can even be prepared at your home they are, that simple. But that doesn’t allow us in anyway to recklessly drive around and waste the fossil fuels. Because there are other complications when using these fuels. Mainly they don’t give enough power as that of fossil fuels, they can be extracted only from particular type of plants like sugarcane, switchgrass, sunflower, canola, potatoes, etc. and don’t yield much as well. Also the crops can be grown only in selected areas and there aren’t many such areas and not enough of arable land either to supply our monstrous need.
But anyway its still a good news cause ‘something is better than nothing’. Don’t get dejected so soon, there are many advantages too for example you can get more mileage with these fuels than the fossil fuels, they emit almost no NOX emissions, they are of course renewable, fuels like bio diesels can even be prepared in your home using waste oils from frying French fries. So the next when you eat French fries you can at least be happy about something. And most of all these fuels can used as additives due to their excellent mixing properties with there fuel. But as the general thought of philosophy goes nothing in the world is permanent and are subjected to an end’ maybe all our efforts of finding new fuels might come to end too. So its always better to conserve what you have now. It’s the best way to survive. Many have started using additives of these bio fuels in their cars, a little reduction in power does no harm at least not more than running on nothing. So till the people find engines that run in water it is better to use such alternatives and try to be more eco friendly.

Well of course all money is solid but I am talking about a chemical solid that’s actually the true money the whole world has been using for years, yes! It’s none other than the yellow piece of metal we call ‘gold’. Suitably named as precious metal it is truly precious, maybe even from the beginning of time it has been the most valued substance used by all civilizations. Women pampered it and men fought over it, a country’s wealth was only determined by it, even gods were decorated and sculpted out of gold. Gold wasn’t always treated with monetary value but it was treasured never the less, thousands or maybe even all wars took place only out of the greed to possess it, only those of the highest stature in a society was awarded with it, no wonder it’s our modern currency.
All the green notes that we hold in our hand is just an equivalent for gold, and only reason we have more of it is because we have more gold reserves than other countries. Not only is it important for the economy but it also serves many other purposes too, it has used to make jewelry right f it was from the day found, it is known to have medical properties for a long time and is used in treating cancer, it is used for decorating food and drinks, even used for defense purposes for its long lasting properties. It is also an very essential element for carrying out many chemical reactions. The most wonderful fact about gold is that its value always keeps increasing, if your great grandfather bought some gold for a few cents its value today will exceed thousands of dollars. So global recession or not having gold locked up in your bank is always like having solid money literally.

Now what’s this you might have heard about winter rains, sun rain or storms, now what’s an acid rain, well I can assure you it’s the one rain that you would never want to be outside splashing around, because it literally pours acid from the clouds at such times. Pollutants in the atmosphere have almost affected everything that lives on the face of the planet and now they are altering nature too. Acid rains are mainly caused by some really noxious chemicals like sulphur, phosphorous, chlorine and carbon getting deposited in the clouds that carry the vaporized water molecules by means of smoke.
Natural rain is normally acidic but a very weak acid which is beneficial to us, but due to the contamination of such chemicals the rain water turns much acidic and pours down as acid rain. Acid rain can have adverse effects depending upon their level of acid content, almost all acid rain affect crop growth, and can even cause crop failure and soil contamination, much stronger acidic rain cause corrosion of unprotected iron an steel structures like bridges, cars, ships etc, and also they cause serious illness to health and affects lungs, and skin. The pollutants are mainly caused by the emissions from factories, mines, industries, vehicle emission etc.
Though many measures have been taken to control such emission, to meet the demands of the nation factories and mines are forced to produce more and in result they contaminate the atmosphere more. If you use a yellow bulb for a whole day you alone contribute to 2 kg of pollutants being deposited in the atmosphere imagine about all other appliances being used and how many are using it, so its really up to our hands to reduce the emissions and save our planet for the benefit of our own selves and all others.

Just the name strikes fear into the heart of everyone, even the strongest and the richest none can escape it’s horrible clutches and it doesn’t just makes us ill but takes our lives and in large numbers too. All viruses are deadly or at least the more stubborn organisms ever known to man that are very hard to cure. Viruses are also known as the ‘living dead’ for their really mysterious ways of sustaining life. They don’t have life functions of their own, and that’s why they are so deadly, they mainly depend on other organisms or hosts to support their life, they attack and invade a host cell like human cell and they take all the energy created by our body to their survival. Unlike bacteria which have some organ functions of their own Virus has none, that’s why even Penicillin the strongest antibiotic is not effective against them.
All the most incurable diseases ever known to man like HIV, Anthrax, Small pox, Polio and many others are caused only by viruses. And they are very stubborn too they can survive for centuries without any food or interaction and can suddenly unleash themselves to kill millions, which makes them completely mysterious in the nature of survival. No one really knows how the great plague of the 1400’s or small pox, or the recent bird flu ever came from or where they went, but they took numerous lives. In recent years bio-technologists have created a virus which are capable of invading and controlling bacterial genome so as to command them to reproduce there own system using the bacteria’s genes. Hope those bio-techno fools stop with bacteria’s alone, else imagine a virus capable of controlling us, we will be roaming around like those ‘Zombies’ then that they show in those creepy movies. Anyway there is only two good news about them, they don’t last long and they are not keen to reproducing. So they are quite dormant most of the time but if we don’t stop playing with nature it is capable of even wiping out the whole human race.

Fingerprints are impressions created by our fingers, toes or palms on something due to the friction ridges present in them. Some say there are many others who look the same like us in the world; in fact it is true; there are infinite records of such cases, one case even state 45 persons looking exactly the same like each other. So what if someone looks exactly the same like you or me and receives all credit for what you do or worse the police catches you thinking it’s him, is there no individual identity to all of us, well this is where nature plays it’s ever mysterious part, by only providing humans with the with completely different friction ridge patterns. Truly it is a class act by nature if you ask me, every human in this planet has his own unique identity ‘the fingerprint’.
No matter what, no two persons will ever have a similar fingerprint pattern; even twins who are born just in an interval of 2 seconds won’t have a similar fingerprint. Really a finger print can distinguish anyone from every other person in the world; it really would have been a disaster if it wasn’t for them, and that’s why they have found a large no of uses everywhere, and mainly in identification, you really can never escape from a crime if your fingerprint has been recorded in some police station in the world, today technology has developed so much, computers can recognize who you are within seconds using your print, though DNA gene code has proved to be more accurate even it has some problems in solving this identity crisis. Only fingerprints have proved really consistent and in fact they are and that’s why they are regarded as our true identity.

Though advance technologies today may prescribe variety of solutions for Fixing Wet Basements, installing sump pump at home right at the stage of construction of home is strongly recommended. In fact this is not only inexpensive but is fool-proof as any percolation of water at the basement could successfully be pumped out easily and completely. Waterproofing engineers recommend various types of sump pumps for homes in Canada taking into consideration all relevant factors and the financial capabilities of the homeowners. Homeowners are advised to always consult expert consultants on the issue to avoid cropping-up of problems like electrical short-circuit when electrically operated pump is installed.
